Father’s Day Conversation Cards
For one Mother’s Day celebration, the girls in our family went to the Nordstrom Cafe’ for lunch and then did a little shopping. The Nordstrom Cafe’ had a disposable camera and Mother’s Day Conversation Cards at each table. It was fun to look through them and answer a few of the questions so, when Father’s Day rolled around, I thought it would be a good idea to create a Father’s Day version of conversation starters!
How to use the Father’s Day Conversation Cards:
- Print the Father’s Day Conversation Cards on card stock.
- Cut the Cards. (I like to use a corner-rounder punch on each card.)
- Leave the Father’s Day Conversation Cards on the table for fun conversations, or have each person choose a card to get the conversation started!
How to make the Father’s Day Conversation Cards a game:
- Choose one person to read the Father’s Day Conversation Cards.
- The first person who responds gets the card. In a large group setting, there may be multiple dads. The person who answers should talk about their dad, whether they are present or not!
- The person with the most Father’s Day Conversation Cards, at the end, wins a prize!
Game Prize Ideas
The person holding the most cards, at the end, wins! But what do they win?
Here are a few game prize ideas:
- Gift Card – A gift card to a local favorite is always a hit. I usually purchase a $10 gift card. It’s super simple, for me, and worth working a bit for.
- $10 Cash Wrapped In A Box – Cash is the most used gift you can give! Make it fancy by wrapping it in a small box.
- One Of Dad’s Favorites – Share one of Dad’s favorite things with the game winner! Examples might be his favorite candy, a go-to snack, a cologne he loves, or a drink he likes.
- Summer Fun – Since it’s summer time, how about something that helps the winner have a little summer fun? This could be anything from a beach ball to an outdoor game or a ticket to the local mini golf place!
