Printable Easter Storage Tote Labels

Organizing is my thing! Rather than throw out the Easter grass in my teenagers’ Easter Baskets, we put it in a ziplock bag to use again next year. There are also plastic eggs, Easter decor, Easter printables, Easter games, and Bunny Glasses to store! A new storage bin was in order and we needed to label it properly withย Easter Storage Box Labels!

Why You Should Label Storage Totes

Even if you use clear storage bins, you should label them because it makes it easy to find what you’re looking for. Labeling bins makes your storage look neat and saves you time and money the next year. Instead of digging through totes or buying new Easter things, you’ll know exactly where to find your Easter supplies. That will save you money and frustration.

For every minute spent organizing, an hour is earned.

How To Use The Easter Storage Tote Labels

I like to use clear storage totes and place the labels inside the end of the totes where I can easily see them. You could also laminate the Easter labels and tape them to the outside of your storage bins.

Pick Your Favorite Storage Totes

My favorite way to store Easter Decorations is in clear storage bins. Whatever tote you choose, be sure to buy enough for your storage needs. Storing everything in the same type of container brings cohesion to your garage storage.

Print The Labels

Find the Labels below. I like to useย Card Stockย for extra durability!

Cut The Labels

Pretty self-explanatory, right? I’ve been known to over-explain so I’ll tell you how much I love my Paper Cutter. I use it all the time! My daughter bought it for me for Christmas a few years ago and it’s the most used gift ever!

Laminate Storage Box Labels – Optional

You may want to laminate your Easter Labels, if you will be placing them on the outside of your Storage Boxes. It would also work to put them on with Packing Tape.

Decide Where To Place The Labels

I usually place our box labels inside our clear storage bins, on the skinny end, since that’s the end that faces out in our garage. If you don’t have clear storage boxes, you may want to use packing tape to tape them securely to the outside of your storage boxes.

Declutter Before Storing

It’s important to go through your Easter supplies before you pack them away for next year. If you didn’t use or like it this year, you likely won’t want to get it out of the bin next year so, why keep it? Your storage space is valuable. Don’t use it to store things you don’t like!

Frequently Asked Questions

That depends on your storage space. If you live in a tiny home with no storage and would need to rent a unit in a storage facility to store your Easter supplies, then yes, it would make sense to buy new next year. Or, if you don’t like any of your Easter items, there’s no reason to keep them. I like to keep my Easter supplies, like plastic eggs, to use year after year because it saves us money that we can spend on other things.

To avoid the labels falling off, I would laminate them and use packing tape around each edge to keep them in place.

Yes! I’ve created a few storage bin labels. Here are a few:

Luckily, the people who owned our home before us, put shelving up around the top of our garage. We also have heavy-duty garage shelving in our utility room and storage under the stairs. In our last house, we used an overhead garage storage rack. I also found this how to DIY an overhead garage storage system to be interesting.
