Who Would This Gift Be Good For?

The Santa Approved Christmas Cheer Gift is perfect for just about anyone on your list. It works for family, friends, teachers, coworkers, or even that hard-to-shop-for person who already has everything. Since you can choose to include gift cards or cash, it’s easy to personalize for anyone on your list, except for little kids. Little kids need something tangible that they understand to unwrap! I don’t think they would understand the excitement of gift cards and cash at a young age.

Can These Pages Be Used For Other Holidays?

A few of the pages might be good for any time of the year, like ‘When you need to order something in a quick click or two,’ but most are Christmas-specific and would only make sense as a Christmas gift with words like holidays, cheer, Christmas, Santa, and jingle.

I have also created a Printable Birthday Gift Card Book that has many pages that could be used for any occasion. Or, if you’re looking for something for newlyweds, this Newlywed Gift Card Book has been popular. Then, for the high school graduate, this Graduation Gift Book is fun to put together and receive!

When Is A Good Time To Give This Gift?

This Santa Approved Christmas Cheer gift card book was designed to give as a gift for Christmas! The sayings on the pages refer to enjoying the gift after Christmas.

Why Is This A Good Gift To Give?

The Christmas Gift Card Book (Santa Approved Christmas Cheer) is a perfect gift because it’s a gift you can personalize, it’s flexible, lasts beyond Christmas, gives you a fun and creative way to gift to anyone on your list, and it’s simple to put together. Plus, it’s a practical gift that the receiver will love!

Personalized

Use just the pages that work well for your recipient and add gift cards you know they would use or keep it simple and attach cash.

Flexible

Every page can be tailored with gift cards or cash that fit the recipient’s tastes. It feels thoughtful and intentional, but still gives them the freedom to choose what they want.

Lasts Beyond Christmas

Instead of one gift to open and be done, it spreads joy into the new year. Each page is like a little surprise waiting to be enjoyed later.

Creative

A gift card or cash alone can feel impersonal. But wrapped in clever phrases and festive packaging, it becomes playful, memorable, and exciting to open. If you’re looking for more creative money gift ideas, check out this Yarn Snowball!

Good For Anyone

This gift card book works for most ages! Teens, college students, young marrieds, parents, grandparents, and coworkers. It’s practical but still festive and full of cheer.

Simple And Meaningful

This gift is easy to put together, yet it makes a big impact on the receiver. It feels like a bundle of small, thoughtful gifts instead of just one envelope with cash or a gift card inside.

It’s basically the perfect mix of practical and magical (Santa approved, of course!)

How To Use This Christmas Gift Card Book

  1. Print the Christmas Gift Card Book on cardstock. Print just the pages you like best and want to use.
  2. Cut the gift card pages. Each page should be about 5” x 7”.
  3. Buy and attach gift cards to the pages you’ve selected for your recipient, or keep it simple and attach cash.
  4. Bind the pages to make a book (I like the Discbound system) or place the pages in a 5” x 7” photo box. You could also use a binder ring in the upper left corner and embellish it with Christmas ribbon.

Frequently Asked Questions

The sweet thing about this gift is that it’s flexible to fit any budget! I’ve purposefully included two pages that don’t require any money at all. They are the Christmas Wordy Wonderland Word Search and a Coloring Page. There is also a page for Luck, which would only require a $1 Lottery Ticket. Then, choose the pages that would fit your recipient best. Five pages with a $10 gift card or cash on each page would make a wonderful gift!

I think that would depend on the age of the child. I remember hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for my nieces and nephews, and I thought it would be a great idea to put money in some of the eggs. I’ll never forget when my then 3-year-old great niece opened an egg and was thoroughly disappointed to find money inside. It made a good laugh for the rest of us! Because of this experience, I think I would reserve this idea for older elementary ages and up.

I like to print on white cardstock for durability. White cardstock is good to have on hand for many printable ideas. I also have a paper cutter that makes cutting easy and fast!

Yes! I have done that in the past when my daughter (who was in college) really just wanted money. I always like to make sure my two kids get the same number of gifts, so I would wrap cash in different ways so she would have more gifts to open! You could easily place a gift card or cash on one of the pages and put it in a box to wrap!
