Frequently Asked Questions

You could probably get away with just using jute, however, I’ve found that the tags shift a little without adhesive. You don’t need much, just a little to keep the tag in place.

Yes! I’ve actually developed an allergy to jute and have been using yarn that resembles jute or raffia. Curling ribbon or twine would work well too. Whatever you choose to use, it should be narrow so it doesn’t cover the words on your tags.

I have found that these tags work well with different brands of microwave popcorn. I have used them on Dollar Tree popcorn, microwave popcorn I’ve purchased in bulk from Costco, and organic microwave popcorn I’ve purchased from Target. I have heard that you can now purchase mini microwave popcorn bags and I’m sure these tags would be too big for those although I’ve never seen them in person.
