Why Should I Decorate For The Fourth of July?
Whether you’re hosting a party, having friends over, or plan to spend the 4th of July watching fireworks on television, it’s always fun to decorate your space. It adds fun and festivity to your home and changes things up enough to make you feel festive yourself!
These banner flags are an inexpensive and easy way to decorate, making them my personal go-to choice for decor!
Supplies You Will Need For Your Fourth of July Banner

- 4th of July Banner PDF – found below
- Paper or Card Stock – This is the card stock I use.
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
- Jute or Twine
- Command Frame Hanger (optional) – This is what I use to hang banners!
How To Assemble Your 4th of July Banner
- Print the Fourth of July Banner flags – found below.
- Cut each flag.
- Use a hole punch to punch two holes in the top of each flag.
- Thread jute or twine through the holes to create a banner!
Where To Hang Your Fourth of July Banner
Banners are a quick and easy way to decorate for any occasion! Once your banner is assembled, hang it in a place where you hang out the most or where your guests will see it!
- On the fireplace mantel. This is my favorite place to hang banners for an inexpensive way to decorate.
- The top of your front door. If you’re planning a 4th of July Party, welcome your guests with a festive banner.
- Above a window. Hang a banner at the top of a window to show your festive spirit.
- On the front of a table where you’ll be serving party food or desserts.
I tie a slip knot on each end of the jute and use Command Frame Hangers to hang my banners.
